2nd Quarter 2008 issue no. 1
Welcome to my first newsletter ever! What a crazy time it has been for me for work and travel, what with all the reality TV shows making tattooing more accessible to people and showing them what good work looks like, and my own expanding skill set propelling me in a great direction with a more discerning clientele demanding my time and art and letting me do my thing. Over the last couple of years I have had the honor and privilege to work with and learn from some of the great tattooers of our time and see the inside of many many tattoo shops all over the world. In 2007 alone I traveled over 100,000 Kms by air and land to work in over 10 tattoo shops globally. I would not be here without the those artists who have helped me so much, so I would just like to formally thank them, in no particular order.. Trevor Mcstay, Greg Orie, Henning Jorgensen, John the Dutchman, Troy Denning, Marco Serio, RG, Aaron Bell, Neil Ahern, Mike the Athens, Cliffe Clayton, Paul Braniff and so on... All fantastic tattooers, check them out!
Hey, thanks for being patient, Really, I can’t thank you enough for your interest in getting tattooed by me and your keenness to wait until I can get to you, it means a lot. If you’re getting this newsletter chances are you have contacted me about tattooing, been tattooed by me, are my friend or colleague OR you are on my waiting list to get tattooed by me, Kian Forreal of Innervision Tattoo in Sydney, if that’s the case and you are my waiting list then this newsletter is for you! Seems I have been a victim of my own success lately and am booked out quite far in advance for large work. I struggled my whole life to get this far with my tattooing and I really do want to tattoo you as soon as I can, the last thing I want is dissatisfied clients and/or potential clients going somewhere else and not getting what they deserve. At this point I am not taking any new consults and the only way to get bookings for large stuff is through my waiting list, so for those of you waiting patiently you will be seen to as soon as possible.
If anyone does want to get smaller stuff in the interim I am still doing walk-ins on Saturday and Sunday mornings for a few hours on a first-come first-serve basis at the shop. Check my website (bookmark it) for more information

Due to the fact that I am going overseas for a month to 6 weeks at some point in the next couple months to fulfill other obligations and visit family, I am hesitant to take bookings now for appointments that would not be started until after I get back. I have no exact dates of my departure yet or of my subsequent return so I will keep you informed as my plans solidify, via email. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with your questions and I will reply as soon as I can. Some of you on the waiting list will be seen to before I go overseas.. I am just waiting to see how my schedule looks over the next month or so as I will have some limited open spaces in May and June when before I go away. Those that aren’t seen to now I will be tattooing you in September and/or October or later if you are farther down the list..
Rest assured that if you’re reading this and are on my list that I do have your name and phone number and will most assuredly contact you about getting started as soon as I have an opening for you. No one will be overlooked.

So finally the long awaited article is on the shelves in the UK, USA and soon over here in Australia!
