First off I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and the best of luck, health and happiness in 2009. The past year was fantastic and went really fast for me, (in a good way).. so I am very excited about what this year holds in store for the shop, myself and tattooing in general.

It's been a while since I have sent a newsletter so I will try to remember everything that I want to say, primarily that if you are on the waiting list.. thank you! For your patience and your loyalty. I am getting there...we've been booking lots of consults and getting some of the smaller pieces out of the way so I can focus on the larger projects and take my time. I have reduced my walk-in schedule to only 3 hours per weekend day in order to accommodate 4 extra clients per cycle. This will make things move a little quicker.

The way I am doing things right now is to book consults, take appointments and book myself up for 2-4 months, finish most of what I started and then book more consults etc etc..repeat. That way I am never too far booked out in advance and once you have your consult the wait time to get tattooed is rather short. Once we commence your tattoo we do 3.5 hours of tattooing every 2 weeks until it is finished.. it can be every 3 weeks if you prefer but its best to get into a rhythm and get it done. I am still doing script lettering on the weekends as walk-ins, in fact I am trying to do only lettering on the weekend mornings.. the only thing I prefer to make an appointment for is large lettering necklaces or backs.. but these can be made within a few weeks on a weekend all the same. Just drop by and see me on a Saturday or Sunday morning and we can see about getting you in!

PS: If anyone out there OWNS a restaurant in Sydney (one with a liquor license and an 'a la carte' menu).. I need your help! Please get in touch with me via email.

I finally have some prints for sale, only one so far but there are more on the way by summers end. You can pick them up at the shop for only $40 - they are 33cm x 48cm, signed and numbered and they don't have any watermarks on them.

I recently added new photos to the website on my portfolio page and I have also added some here for you to check out.. feel free to drop me a line and let me know what you think. And if I forgot to mention something I'll put in the next edition!
